Kvt yield launch on April 30th

We are delighted to announce the upcoming launch of the KVT yield on 30th of April 2023.

The completion of the Kinesis yield system will see a retroactive payout of gold and silver to KVT holders, with a total value of $4.82 million, at the time of writing.

Those users who already store their KVTs in their Kinesis account or have previously linked the external wallets containing their KVTs will automatically receive their yields without further action.

In order to receive their yields, KVT holders who hold their KVTs outside of the platform must move their KVTs directly into their Kinesis account or, alternatively, link the address of all the external wallets holding their KVTs, with their Kinesis account.

Please note: You must complete one of the above actions prior to April 30th or you will lose all KVT yields earned, as Kinesis will be unable to verify the account to be credited.

Is any additional Kinesis client action necessary when it comes to updating your KVT address in your KMS account under Yields tab. (Linked addresses). Not in my opinion, but check it anyway just to be sure. It would be unfortunate, to miss the 1st yield of holding KVTs due to miscommunication. I refer to the email I received from Kinesis on March 7 Important: your KVT deposit addresses had changed

Doubt it will be on Apr 30. Likely will include all yields up to and including Apr 30 and paid out a little later like the rest of the yields.

I agree. I assume they'll all be lumped together eventually, granted I don't know how that'd work IT wise. Customer will be happy, but if there's an issue IT wise you're dealing with a shotgun blast (all yields at once) vs. a .22 (yields spaced out)

Anyways, I am EXCITED.

Sure, the overall yield is low, but it's the fact that it's being delivered. A follow through. In terms of business, that's great. It's awesome. I've seen a bunch of FUD about how low it is, how long people have waited, it's a failure, etc.

We live in an instant gratification society, you must see the potential of a business or idea and not just the current state. The average business takes 2-3 years to become profitable, 5 years to sustainable growth, and 7-10 years (or longer) to become a market leader.

The growth potential is insane. I already love it over my normal banking app, and KAG was trading below spot this morning on KMS. It's an absolute no brainer.

I've been with Kinesis for almost 2 years, and I'm excited to watch it grow. It's a benefit to EVERYONE that uses it, and I try to remind people of that.

You seem to think that the yields up to and including April 2023 will be paid as the first KVT yield, perhaps simultaneous with the other yields. I guess we'll find out but I wish there was more clarity in these announcements without having to play guessing games.

"The launch of the KVT yield on 30th of April 2023" could have been phrased better although I am indeed delighted. Just a guy who likes to think words mean what they say. So I'm anticipating the launch in early May with the boat filled with the accumulated KAU/KAG through April 2023, if you are correct.

Would it be paid out in $USD or KAU ? or KAG ? and is there a way for the members to choose which currency they wish to receive the payout/yield ?

All yields are paid in KAU and KAG.
The amounts in the fee pool are held in KAU and KAG, so you can calculate how much of each per KVT you will receive for what's been accrued so far.

The KM application does not currently show how many KVT you have linked in external wallets.
The easiest way to verify would be to take the KVT address that you've linked from the KM web application, Yields page:


If you click on it, that will copy to clipboard.
Then paste it into an explorer like ethplorer.io
That should then show you your KVT's.

If you are holding your KVT in your KM account, rather than an external wallet, then no action is required.

The change to the deposit address only affects any transfers into your KM account, not where they are stored on an ongoing basis.
Once they are received at the deposit address, they are then swept into the central Kinesis Exchange account for KVT.

All yields are paid in KAU and KAG.
The amounts in the fee pool are held in KAU and KAG, so you can calculate how much of each per KVT you will receive for what's been accrued so far.

The all time KVT yield accumulation is 76,896 KAU and 15,472 KAG or ~0.25KAU and 0.05KAG per KVT.
