Kvt yield launch on April 30th

We are delighted to announce the upcoming launch of the KVT yield on 30th of April 2023.

The completion of the Kinesis yield system will see a retroactive payout of gold and silver to KVT holders, with a total value of $4.82 million, at the time of writing.

Those users who already store their KVTs in their Kinesis account or have previously linked the external wallets containing their KVTs will automatically receive their yields without further action.

In order to receive their yields, KVT holders who hold their KVTs outside of the platform must move their KVTs directly into their Kinesis account or, alternatively, link the address of all the external wallets holding their KVTs, with their Kinesis account.

Please note: You must complete one of the above actions prior to April 30th or you will lose all KVT yields earned, as Kinesis will be unable to verify the account to be credited.

I was trying to sell the idea of Bitcoin when they were $2. Watching them when they were $.090. Because of Max Kieser.

After that, I waited 7 long years for the birth of a Blockchain powered, precious metals accounting/storage system... Kinesis. + Yields.

Waiting another 7 years after the birth of Kinesis for it's growth.

I'll be happy with 7 years of prosperity being a Kinesis participant. I'm already appreciating getting paid monthly from Kinesis yields. PEOPLE, IT'S HAPPENING, IT'S ON, IT'S LIT.

It's all coming together now so I am appreciating Kinesis' foresight to accommodate vast adoption.

At this point, I think the ongoing priority is to make for certain that Kinesis can handle a flood of new users and/or a flood of existing users additional activity. Said a different way, strengthen capacity and strengthen contingency.

The link works, but from some countries you need to use a VPN to bypass UK/EU censorship (because RT is a Russian news site).

A free, quick and easy way to do that if you don't have a VPN is to get the free Windscribe VPN plugin for Chrome/Brave browser. That gives you 2GB free bandwidth per month (and 10GB if you register an email address - use a free disposable email address for that like Tempmail). Works perfectly. You can auto select the best server or switch to servers in several countries in the world.

I gifted KVT to my daughter and son several years ago, held in their coolwallets. My son linked his coolwallet address to his KMS account, but my daughter never did. She is not the most technical person and hates all of the steps to link them. I'm not sure she is actually capable. I asked support if they could link them for her, as I have both her KMS number and her coolwallet address where her KVT are held. They said it couldn't be done, that she would have to do it. This is frustrating, as she might lose or have her KVT extinct once the conversion to Stellar occurs on Monday. Not to mention that she hasn't received KVT yield for the past several years.

Can anyone help me with this? I don't think she has the patience or knowledge to do it.

There are guides on linking the Coolwallet referenced within the email. I'll review and link the specific one below.

An alternative might be to send some ETH to her Coolwallet (for gas) and get her to send the KVT to her KMS account.
Essentially, she'd be using the Coolwallet app to scan the Receive KVT QR code of her KMS account, then confirming the Send using the app and her Coolwallet card.
If she hasn't used the Coolwallet for a long time, then charging/firmware updates would be extra steps.

I would second that this is likely the 'simpler' way to do it albeit the more expensive (those damn ETH fees...)

The good thing about Kinesis is it makes crypto much simpler for the average Joe by mimicking a bank account which people are more accustomed to.
 
Hi, any updates if KVT yields are being currently paid out, do you have a current estimate of how much KAU/KAG is being redistributed per KVT?

First retrospective KVT yield was paid on 5th May 2023.
It has subsequently been paid monthly since then.

The monthly amount is variable and depends on activity and therefore fees collected during the month.
You can calculate how much has been paid per KVT in a specific month by looking at the Master Fee Pool for that month and dividing the KVT portion by 300,000.

While the yields to date have been modest, the mechanics are well established,
