We have completed one cycle of metalback and just did the second. The process sounds clunky but operated flawlessly. Got prompt notification via email of acknowledgement and the gold showed up within the stated period.

I received gold for buying stuff I normally buy! Wonderful feature!

One thing that would make the metal back easier to use would be a link to the qualified vendors that I could send to my wife so she could see who provided desired services.

I’ve been spending quite alot, especially through trip.com which gives back 4%, rather than its competitor Wotif.com (2.5%). It’s a really nice surprise to get some gold back from these spends (which I would have made anyway).The debit card spend MetalBack should be regular and predictable versus the pleasant surprise of Merchant MetalBacks. The Yin to the Yang of MetalBack.

I haven’t posted any transactions lately although I’ve used MetalBack quite a lot. This is a noteworthy one. NordVPN (so I can watch my cricket and basketball on Kayo Sports, while in France and 2 years of added security) and the MFP and I get almost $30 each.

I also bought my wife some Lancôme Poem perfume from one of the French merchants which gives 7.5% back. Nord VPN gave 35% back. I like the $36.50 of KAU back, but as a holder of quite a few KVTs, with the MFP contributions of these 2 small purchases, it will give me a whopping $0.00555 USD of KAU/KAG for a future monthly KVT yield. The fact that this even registers as over half a cent (to my overall holdings), blows me away about the mathematical power of the MetalBack programs.
Furthermore, Tom indicated in Vaultside 5 that Kinesis Pay will be bigger and better than the current merchant MetalBack (Kinesis Pay 2.0 will run as an additional program to MetalBack merchant). These MFP revenue streams weren’t even considered by me when investing in KVTs. Not only KVT holders benefit, but all of the yield stakeholders will. This will be incredibly exciting to see large numbers of people start spending their hard earned money via Kinesis.

@Gary L good point about us not even considering the benefits of Metalback when we joined. It's definitely worth reiterating the extra advantages.

The only criticism I'd make is that, if you're in Paris watching Australian cricket, you need to take the Eurostar three hours north to see a decent team.
