Key features of Pegasus

  • Fast USD deposits – seamless transfers into Kinesis
  • Low fees – low-cost deposits or withdrawals from Kinesis
  • Accessible – available via the Kinesis platform and mobile app

Deposit USD with Pegasus in 3 steps

You can deposit your USD into Kinesis in a few steps:

  1. 1. Sign up for a free Pegasus wallet and fund your Pegasus wallet in USD via bank deposit. Processing takes 2–3 business days, with a maximum deposit of $10,000 per day.
  2. 2. Log in to your Kinesis account and head to ‘Deposit’ in the top right corner of your Home dashboard. Select the mobile wallet deposit option and follow the steps.
  3. 3. Your USD will be available for use on the Kinesis platform in minutes.
Sign up for your Pegasus wallet here.

Expanding on-ramping and off-ramping

While the initial offering of Pegasus wallet is focused on US-based residents, the next stage of the partnership will utilise the global capabilities of the Pegasus mobile wallet, opening up fast, low-cost, multi-currency on-ramping and off-ramping for Kinesis users worldwide. The next phase will offer the global community debit and credit card deposit options into a Pegasus wallet, with instant transfers into the Kinesis platform, from anywhere in the world.

The Kinesis team have been working hard behind the scenes, we are now in the final stages of delivering a wide range of on-ramping solutions for faster, cheaper, and more localised deposits. Our partnership with Pegasus is the first stage of a global rollout of on-ramping and off-ramping options designed to make the Kinesis Monetary System seamlessly accessible to all.

As ever, Kinesis is committed to enhancing the access of the platform for users across the globe.

I’m still waiting for my initial account loading to post before guessing on the correct way to transfer to Kinesis. 🤞 my funds don’t end up in blockchain purgatory.

Tried to do an account load via debit card for instant posting but either that functionality isn’t working yet or my bank doesn’t play nice.

I think we should give the pegasuspay some slack. They only started trading on 13th March.

This is ridiculous, you shouldn't have to guess how to make the transfer to Kinesis, it should be clear what you have to do. 😒

Well, Kinesis staff will be watching this thread so I would think/hope that clearer instructions will soon be published.

I would hold-out for now unless it's a small amount you don't mind losing. Maybe another user can clarify the process before Kinesis do!

There’s no blockchain involved; these are all centralized fiat systems with support if there is an issue. It’s an ACH to Pegasus and then the cash will end up in your Kinesis account on a second hop(instant I believe). ACH usually takes 2-3 business days. I initiated on 3/20 and it pulled out of bank on 3/21, so I expect it to get credited Monday.

Same Day ACH is a batch process done late afternoon so if initiated in the morning it lands by day's end. Normal ACH is next day. Maybe the 1st transfer is slow for KYC reasons, then faster..?

When will the other options be available? I was under impression that we had a US banking partner such that we would have a Kinesis fiat account at that bank, and could simply send ACH from our bank to that bank. Is Pegasus FDIC insured?

Hybrid accounts, whats the status?

Pegasus is a separate account you create with UN and PW. You then connect your bank through Plaid and "pull the funds from the Pegasus side, sort of like a direct debit ACH...but it is not instant. The Wallet is unique to you.

Once the funds are there you will use the details on KMS to get them credited to your account by sending from Pegasus to your KMS account. I am still pending for step one and have not done this.

Are you saying you're past this step?
What is UN and PW?

Where else can one send from a Pegasus wallet? Which other wallets are supported?
