In the event of the death of a Kinesis account owner

Please be aware that any funds held in wallets (integrated wallet, standalone wallet or CoolWallet) are only guaranteed to be accessible if you have the seed phrase.

If you have access to the browser on which the integrated wallet was last used, then provided cookies haven't been cleared, this should provide access.
Same applies to the standalone wallet, provided you have the password for it.
If you have the phone and CoolWallet device and device PIN and CoolWallet app PIN if they have been set, then access should similarly be possible.

Where do the Referral Yields / Accounts go to upon a death? Does Kinesis absorb them?
Right now they flow into the referring account. I'd assume they would continue to do so, but upon delivery of a death certificate and will Kinesis could reset the e-mail address that account is associated with.

That's just been my running assumption, though. Or maybe the account holder can just have his password and 2FA emergency codes in his will, and the heir can just continue to use the original account. I'd think it would make more sense legally to just transfer after death.

As indicated in the initial post above, the whole account was transferred to the beneficiary, including Minter yield.
In that case, I would think that any other yield would also have been transferred.

I'm sure that the beneficiary would need to complete KYC.

That's perfect.
