Key features of Pegasus

  • Fast USD deposits – seamless transfers into Kinesis
  • Low fees – low-cost deposits or withdrawals from Kinesis
  • Accessible – available via the Kinesis platform and mobile app

Deposit USD with Pegasus in 3 steps

You can deposit your USD into Kinesis in a few steps:

  1. 1. Sign up for a free Pegasus wallet and fund your Pegasus wallet in USD via bank deposit. Processing takes 2–3 business days, with a maximum deposit of $10,000 per day.
  2. 2. Log in to your Kinesis account and head to ‘Deposit’ in the top right corner of your Home dashboard. Select the mobile wallet deposit option and follow the steps.
  3. 3. Your USD will be available for use on the Kinesis platform in minutes.
Sign up for your Pegasus wallet here.

Expanding on-ramping and off-ramping

While the initial offering of Pegasus wallet is focused on US-based residents, the next stage of the partnership will utilise the global capabilities of the Pegasus mobile wallet, opening up fast, low-cost, multi-currency on-ramping and off-ramping for Kinesis users worldwide. The next phase will offer the global community debit and credit card deposit options into a Pegasus wallet, with instant transfers into the Kinesis platform, from anywhere in the world.

The Kinesis team have been working hard behind the scenes, we are now in the final stages of delivering a wide range of on-ramping solutions for faster, cheaper, and more localised deposits. Our partnership with Pegasus is the first stage of a global rollout of on-ramping and off-ramping options designed to make the Kinesis Monetary System seamlessly accessible to all.

As ever, Kinesis is committed to enhancing the access of the platform for users across the globe.

Anecdotal reports suggest that Kinesis users in the EU and Canada also have access to the Pegasus wallet route into their KMS accounts.

Would be good to see people in those areas (and any others) post below to confirm.
If you have access, you'll see it under
  • Deposit
  • US Dollars
  • United States (if you have access via Pegasus)

(From the UK, I don't currently have access to this route.)

someone needs to tighten up the instructions on how to load money from Pegasus. the instructions stated above do not gel with the actual process. get your **** together Kinesis, stop rolling out half-assed "improvements." following the steps listed above merely launches the webpage for Pegasus. ok great, then what? is my Kinesis account another Pegasus wallet the gets sent money? if so, then why don't the field codes match between to the applications? are the Pegaasus 'mobile wallet number' and Kinesis "wallet number' the matching fields? where do you use the Kinesis 'Payment Reference', with the Pegasus 'Description'? why isn't there a matching Pegasus field for the Kinesis 'wallet name'?

sloppy, just sloppy, if you're going to integrate with another technology provider then the least you can do is have similar UI prompts...

I, also went through the enroll process on the Pegasus website only to discover (after seversl attempts to add a US BANK ACCOUNT) that the Pegasus chat rep told me the program would not be ready for weeks because it was in testing phase. They now have all my personal info. I complained on KMS chat this morning. They sais they would followup. Something is totally screwed up with this process, especially announcing invalid programs and how to enroll for an account and wallet. I want answers!

I just created an account in a couple of minutes to use GBP.

Just clicked on 'Pegasus Financial' and then guessed, 'Enroll' on the site. Easy.

So I have it ready when Verify Identity is possible and that'll be when the facility is switched on in the UK.

I imagine it's best to wait until we get official word that it works in the UK, but if so then it's best not to let these things out in the wild until it's all taped down.

I'm in the UK and I've verified my identity. Took about 24hrs.

My understanding is that several people have linked a US bank account and have transfers pending.

Pegasus is a separate account you create with UN and PW. You then connect your bank through Plaid and "pull the funds from the Pegasus side, sort of like a direct debit ACH...but it is not instant. The Wallet is unique to you.

Once the funds are there you will use the details on KMS to get them credited to your account by sending from Pegasus to your KMS account. I am still pending for step one and have not done this.

Are you saying you're past this step?

I think all the Pegasus wallets work by phone number, so perhaps we will need the Kinesis number(or use the wallet #) with your KM number in the description. Will ask about this

I created my Pegasus account and funded it with my bank account via an ACH deposit. The bank account was added to Pegasus via Plaid which worked well and the deposit is currently processing. This was the easy part. My gripes have to deal with getting the funds from Pegasus into Kinesis as the wallet to wallet mapping is neither automatic nor blatantly clear. And considering that one wrong move in the handling of blockchain transactions can result in the funds being sent forever into the ether, then this really needs to be tightened up. Early adopters may be risk tolerant, but Early Majority customers expect more. In my opinion, after 4 plus years, the Kinesis’ internal QC processes should be matured to the point where new feature rollouts are thoroughly vetted, documented, integrated and supported prior to launch.

Heck even a simple side-by-side of the Pegasus & Kinesis screens with arrows mapping the fields together could suffice.

I think the "wallet number" is going to be the same as "mobile number" in Pegasus. I guess we'll find out but those two labels should probably be the same

I believe you work for Kinesis correct? And if so, then that’s my issue. As a member of the team, then you really should know and not have to guess. This kind of thing should have been ironed out well before the release… and if I’m wrong and you don’t work there, then please accept my apology.
