How to have translated subtitles appear for Youtube videos

Kinesis video content hosted on youtube may not obviously be translated into the language you prefer.
It is possible to get the video to display translated subtitles with a little configuration.

This is what to do.
1 Click the cogged wheel next to the CC at the bottom right of the video

2 Click on Subtitles

3 Click on English autogenerate - this will generate English text which Google will then translate as you wish.

4 Click on subtitles

You may need to select the available language eg Indonesian between steps 2 and 3.

If playing a youtube video directly from a forum post, depending on your screen resolution, you may find that the language selection (or the video) goes off screen when doing the auto-translate step.
If you make the video full screen before the auto-translate step, this shouldn't happen.

If your mobile device allows you to change the display resolution, setting it to a minimum of 1080p may also help.
