Indonesia

These millions of small transactions happening 24/7 globally are the real strength of the system and represent significant risk mitigation, because success is not dependent on a single party, or even a few fickle whales.

This is why, for me, the constantly higher bottoms of volume on the KMS are the critical measure, indicating uninterrupted use of the system by time zone and geography, creating a constant base level of operation.

Kinesis really is a system where the “little” man is king and this is among its most attractive features, being a complete inversion of today’s status quo, in all senses of “revolutionary”, where bottom becomes top.

(Except i don't believe Apollo did go to da Moon but that is another story altogether).
What? - you don't believe the Nazi war criminal that ran a concentration camp in Berlin that routinely executed Jewish-slave workers when he tells you he sent Americans to the moon? That's crazy talk! Of course we've been there, I heard it on the radio and when the government says so then it's always right - we all know that. Of course it's just a CoInCiDeNcE that NASA "lost" all of the telemetry data from the moon landing. That just happens. Why back that data up - that isn't even remotely interesting for aerospace engineering - of course not a singular copy exists anywhere since nobody at NASA needed to study it to improve a process - not because they didn't really go there, but because they are god-humans that never make mistakes. Just ask all the kind blue-eyed blond NASA employees about that and they will tell you that they aren't Untermenschen and can do math.

Psalm 19 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.

Cryptic message he left there for us.

Recently Executed Orders for KAU/USD on the Exchange page.

You should be able to see the 50 (I think that's what I counted) most recent trades.

In the mobile app, you can access via
Hub, Exchange, KAU/USD
then scroll down to Order book/Recent orders
then See more will show you the 50 most recent.

The next thing I'll be looking for is a shortening of the time window covered by the last 50 trades.

For the screen capture below, it's 7 hours, which is the shortest I can remember, though I only occasionally glance at this.

EDIT: @MrLombaard post yesterday showed a timespan of just over 3 hours.

We are thrilled to see what we believe to be Indonesian transactions flooding in but it will quickly render the 'recently executed orders' section useless. Yes this is a 'first world' problem but i did use to use that section quite a bit for reference to see whether big trades / minting was going on.

I suppose if there is good sized 24hr volume i shouldn't worry where it is coming from and when the KVT offer is exhausted it is unlikely to be coming from mint cycling after that.

Say a year from now 10 million people in Indonesia have an account.

Say just 2% use it daily. Divide 200,000 people by the number of minutes in 24 hours (1,440).

That’s still 139 transactions per minute.
Then add in contributions by everyone else worldwide.

For reference, statista.com cites 660m transactions daily in 2022 with Visa.

The difference is that we get paid by Kinesis. See what we have here?

Perhaps IT could start putting the full complement of Executed Orders on a separately linked page. I also like to look at the executed orders on the right of the Exchange page, but it seems unavoidable that the small scrolling list will become unusable if this continues and expands (?explodes). And of course, we'd love to see the latter happen.
