Indonesia

Why not just have the Christmas chat?

It leaves more time out of a short month for work and, being nearer the end of the year, lends itself more readily to reflective rumination, then anticipatory auguring.

There'd be no change in the value of the gold. Just a pain to resmelt & stamp it, although if temperatures reach 1,064 degrees C, I may have to consider loosening my tie & top button.

Worth watching all of this, but at 5 minutes, announcement of instant, seamless, sustainable QR+ payments with Indonesia & the other countries. Massive:

Be very careful about these promoters of this system. When someone is promoting the BIS as their partner and support, you'd better make sure you have your financial bulletproof vest on and anything you don't want bailed in out of their system. Even worse if they're talking about their "ESG" goals as core. Doesn't mean it's all bad, it just means they're connected to the system that has destroyed us financially and made all but the top .0001% their financial slaves. Oh, and that wants to just keep right on doing that ... digitally.

Couldn't agree more.

EDIT: I know it's from Jan Zeurenhuis (might have misspelled last name), but you know - he has a point here.
I read and posted that article, too, yesterday evening elsewhere. We've been having a discussion about NIEUWENHUIJS on the "Gold, Silver and more -- Interesting Reads" forum. And though I agree with him and find interesting and encouraging what he says in the article, a number of members have pointed out to me that he has at least subtly if not openly maligned Kinesis as a possible scam. Some say it's because he works for competition (he writes for Gainesville Coins)? I've reached out to him to get his take, but am not holding my breath on any response.

Well if these are Indonesia
Still coming.... Three more 0.01 transactions after the 15:02:18 (16:02:18 my time).

How many of be these transactions over the last 24 hours, roughly?
Well i can count 32 x 0.01 KAU transactions in roughly the last 3 and a half hours. i cannot see further back than that on the desktop Exchange.

There are some dead on 1 KAU transactions which could also count, but what matters to me is we are seeing lots of dead on 0.01 trades going through - this is a strong indicator in my mind that Apollo is taking off and soon enough we'll be going to 'da Moon.' (Except i don't believe Apollo did go to da Moon but that is another story altogether).

Roughly 10 an hour. If the pace is semi consistent, 150-250 txs/24 hours.

Looking like $0.64 per transaction, 200 txs in a day roughly, $128/day in transaction volume so far from those. Nice.

Yeah as I said it doesn't amount to a hill of beans - it is only by looking at the recent trades you would ever know anything was going on BUT (cross fingers) it's happening - something is happening - from small acorns great oak do grow. There is the potential for 100's of millions of 0.01 trades and that it seems to have begun is getting a bit exciting.

One more interesting piece of info. Monthly salary in Indonesia is $192. Roughly $6.40/day. These 0.01 KAU represent 10% of each day's pay, or $0.64.

President Wikodo's aim is to double GDP by 2030 and there’s no reason to believe that his successor (possibly Mr Subianto, current defense minister, with Wikodo’s son as running mate) would prevent this aim. Prosperity would favour re-election for Subianto/whomever in the election after next.

Then businesses join and cross-border trade kicks in with Indonesia’s next door neighbours.

For individuals, given that people with growing disposable income need to spend a good portion of it monthly on essentials, 100m people spending 0.01KAU per day on something is not fanciful, but let’s detune that assumption by a factor of 10.

So... 10m transactions of 0.01KAU / day still equals 100k KAU per day. Not too shabby...
