I got an E-Mail.Now that the SEPA deposits are official, Kinesis should actively notify European users (email) rather than just a Company News article on the website. This is such an important improvement that held many users back from actually using Kinesis. Onramps were the bottleneck (high cost, slow) and now it is €0.30 flat fee and within a few hours. Not many users will read the company news on the website.
Excellent!I got an E-Mail.

You need to be resident in the EEA area.I'm a European citizen with a European EUR account, but resident outside of Europe. Can I still use this facility? If so, how? What is the precise requirement to use it?

I was notified by e-mail, not with my real first name, but that’s ok..Now that the SEPA deposits are official, Kinesis should actively notify European users (email) rather than just a Company News article on the website. Well a person can have residency in one country and live for some of the time in another.I'm a European citizen with a European EUR account, but resident outside of Europe. Can I still use this facility? If so, how? What is the precise requirement to use it?
Good thinking, but no I am officially out of the EU. So, I will continue depositing AUD to the ABX account for the time being, until a better solution arrives. C’est la vie.Well a person can have residency in one country and live for some of the time in another.
I have lived in Spain and had UK residency - i have lived in the UK and had Spanish residency. You can have sufficient ties to be officially be in two places.
Do you have residency in the EU? You might live somewhere else but still have a residency card. Do you have an address, bank accounts and other ID linking you to that EU address? Do you have an EU mobile contact number? Would you pass a KYC?
It may be possible to switch the registered address in your KMS.
It kind of depends on where you are living now. If you are in the UK for example, the UK card is coming - i don't know exactly when but it is coming. If you are somewhere else and there is no card on the horizon and you have the right documentation it might be useful to speak to your account manager.
