Again, depending on partners timelines can be.. frustrating.

Big partner for Kinesis Pro was instrumental is setting up biggest exchanges?
Intriguing! Heard Tom mention Solaris as the phys card partner, seen here:

Merchant Should Have 1 QR Code that Could Receive Any of the Crypto Pairs that Would Automatically be Converted into "X" Number of KAU ... I Think that's What he was Saying

Interesting.....

USDC Stellar is Important b/c I Can Turn Cash into USDC Stellar at MoneyGram Locations

-It Wouldn't Need to be a 2nd USDC Token Trading Pair; I Would Just Select the Network When Depositing/Withdrawing USDC

Sounds good for the members in the EU and UK which is serviced by Solaris. I guess after that rolls out we'll be learning about the N. American banking as a service partner.

I Suspect their Will Have to be a Premium for KAU Sheets.
example
It Costs Me 1.1 KAU to Withdraw 1 KAU in Sheets; I Receive 1.05 KAU for Each 1 KAU in Sheets I Deposit

We have an update for the community following the latest Kinesis Vaultside chat, which covered plans for adding USDC on the Stellar network to the Kinesis Monetary System (KMS).

We have investigated Stellar USDC further since the recording and identified a solution that does not require new exchange pairs

We are now in the process of scheduling the development of USDC on Stellar, which will commence following the release of our ongoing major projects.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Thank you!

Awesome news!

I had a long conversation today with my Account Executive and I thought I’d share some of our conversation, mainly around points stemming from the latest Vaultside Chat:
  • Hariz mentioned IRAs in the US. I replied that my first experience with ABX was via my self managed super fund, with ESUPERFUND recommending the Metal Desk (ABX) platform to invest in Precious Metals.
  • ESUPERFUND and Metal Desk had a commercial agreement where it promoted this metal exchange above others (without completely excluding them, either) by streamlining all accounting via API integration.
  • If Metal Desk, which costs monthly fees, has higher premiums (than KMS) is part of ABX, I think Kinesis and ESUPERFUND should come to a similar commercial arrangement and API feeds to accounting firms (my feedback to Kinesis Management).
  • Having no storage fees, holder’s yield, tight trading spreads and now having vastly improved transaction history records, seems like it could make for a highly marketable superannuation product. Investors trialling the KMS for their super could also lead to them deciding to make a personal usage account??
  • I also asked Hariz about the European IBANs via Solaris (I think Tom mentioned). My query is - will all European KMS account holders have individual IBANs? I’m not sure if this is a generic Kinesis Company IBAN or individual account holder IBAN. Solaris is such a new and innovative BAAS provider, I was hoping IBANs might be made available for individuals (possibly my wishful thinking).

For sure the pension market is huge. We see this is part of the Indonesian package.
There is plenty of room for a no vault storage, yielding gold and silver savings / investment vehicle.
In the olden days some of us were concerned that so much capital might come into the KMS which would just sit there and accummulate. Other than the initial deposit, this metal isn't moving and so isn't creating any revenue for the KMS.

I think capital might sit there in KAU and KAG for years and decades, however, once people retire the velocity really kicks in after that. There’s plenty of room for low and high velocity investors.
One of the things that Alp mentioned, which is real exciting to me, is the “scrap” recycling of gold into the Turkish refinery. There’s far more above ground gold in this form than any other form (such as bullion). If gold price goes much higher, many people around the world might turn to pawning their jewellery. Enter Kinesis.
I suppose what I’m getting at - I’m not worried about Kinesis not being able to source metal into its system. Between recycling, mining and international wholesale supplies- I think all bases are covered.

will all European KMS account holders have individual IBANs?
My interpretation of this:

There'll be already European banking as, as Jai mentioned with SEPA and IBANs is a sequential plan.
Sorry, I'm diverging a little bit, but IBANs will initially just be related to deposits and withdrawals and then it will be opened up to third party deposits and withdrawals or transferring as well.

Individual IBAN's, but they will be restricted to deposits from/withdrawals to another account in the same name,
A later phase will open them up to receive deposits from 3rd parties and make payments to 3rd parties.

Perhaps the first phase simplifies KYC/AML.

My expectation is for a significantly higher premium.
Some discussion of premium over spot built into the value of the bills here:

100mg bill likely to determine the level of premium for the Kinesis Aurums.
Valaurum currently has some of these selling at $13.50 ie 100+% premium.

Goldback perhaps provides a path for Kinesis Aurum premiums - it's a functioning ecosystem of similar gold bills being used as money.
And I understand that Goldback trades at around 100% premium now, but that's actually the value of the note.

The full details of deposit/withdrawal of Kinesis Aurums against KAU hasn't yet been nailed down, but interesting that it will be possible down to sub 1 KAU amounts.

The conversion and withdrawal out of the system will be going much lower than 100 KAU.
It will be down to one KAU and lower.
So yeah, it's like one KAU and lower.

Yes, even a portion of pensions in gold is a huge vote of confidence and will benefit Indonesia, Kinesis and us now and in the long term, but think of the individual and the benefits of physical gold...

Example: I began contributing £400/month to a private pension in 1987 from my earnings as a training contractor from my first, Noddy company as a 28-year-old.

At the time £400 bought about 1.5oz of gold per month (price per oz was £265/oz) and contributions were automatically index-linked for the next 30 years, meaning I would have ended up with about 540oz of gold, even with ***no*** yields, which turbocharge it by compounding.

That pension company was bought 4 times and the annual charges paid for the "admin", so I ended up with several times less in purchasing power if I'd just bought gold and stuck it in a tin..

So we see the power of what Kinesis is doing and its effects on the world.
